At Manaaki Whaanau Kids Care, the wellbeing and happiness of our tamariki and whaanau are at the heart of everything we do.

I wanted to share our experience with the new Manaaki Whānau Kids after-school and holiday programme.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and kindness. The environment felt calm, peaceful, and incredibly well organised. My child settled in straight away and absolutely loved being there.
I know there has been a lot of discussion surrounding the opening of this programme and comparisons with other local programmes. Speaking purely from my own personal experience, I'm really glad we decided to give Manaaki Whānau Kids a chance.
What stood out to me was that it wasn't overcrowded, the children were engaged and well supervised, and the atmosphere was positive and respectful. When I arrived to collect my child, they were exactly where they were supposed to be, happily participating in activities. There was no bullying, no hitting, and no children running around unsupervised.
As a parent, peace of mind is everything, and that's exactly what this programme gave me. My child had a fantastic time, and we had a genuinely positive experience from start to finish.
Thank you to the Manaaki Whānau Kids team for creating such a caring, safe, and welcoming environment for our tamariki. We look forward to coming back!

The entire enrolment process was straightforward and had all the information I needed when considering new childcare.
My Son was quick to settle into the clean and welcoming environment with the help of the friendly staff, they’ve helped him come out of his shell and since attending the holiday program he comes home with stories of his day and asks when he’s going back again.
We as a whanau are more than pleased with our experience so far and would happily recommend to other families looking for new experiences and a warm environment to join Manaaki Whaanau!

Amazing After School Care. We couldn't be happier with my sons after school care.
It is such an amazing, safe, loving and fun environment, and he absolutely loves going.
As a high-needs child with ADHD, he can sometimes become overwhelmed and need extra patience and support. The Care and understanding he receives here is incredible. they know how to calm him down, help him regulate his emotions and make him feel safe, understood and accepted.
Knowing he is somewhere where he is genuinely cared for, supported and able to be himself means the world to us. We are so grateful for everything they do for him ❤️.
Easy enrolment and flexible, could not recommend enough!
My little girl will be attending with her big brother next year and shes also super excited to join you!
